New Brunswick

New York City
The train is the easiest and cheapest way to get into New York City. The New Brunswick Train Station is about four blocks from the Heldrich Hotel.
The ticket prices from New Brunswick to New York are:
Adult One Way – $12.75
Adult Off-Peak Round Trip – $17.75
If you are over 62 you can get a significant senior discount.
 
Princeton
Princeton is easily accessible from New Brunswick by NJ Transit. You can take the train from New Brunswick to Princeton Junction, and from there take the “Dinky” into Princeton. The University has a beautiful campus with a wonderful art museum. There are restaurants of all kinds within walking distance of the campus.

 

 

Philadelphia

Philadelphia is easily accessible from New Brunswick. Take NJ Transit to Trenton, and from there take SEPTA (the Pennsylvania local trains) into the city, to Suburban Station, Market East, or 30th Street Station. Philly has a world class art museum, the recently opened Barnes Foundation, the Rodin Museum, and the Franklin Institute. Philly is a great city known especially for its wide variety of excellent restaurants.
